Angel has long wavy red hair that goes down past her back. She seems to wear a halo above her head, though its significance is unknown. She is sometimes seen with pure white wings, but sometimes not, leading one to believe that she is able to 'retract' them somehow. As she is otherwise human in appearance it is thought that she may be related to the Zedkiel race, though this is unknown.

She most commonly wears white or pale blue dresses adorned with gold jewelry. The wing-like things on her head are accessories.

Angel is bright and bubbly, and it is very difficult to anger her. However when it comes to protecting her friends she can be fearsome. She has no love for the evil Krampus, having fought to save Christmas from him on many occasions in the distant past.

However Angel is not as pure and good as her angelic appearance may have you believe. She is in cahoots with the garden gnomes, a race of subterranean troublemakers who come up to the surface of IGNOLand to wreak havoc. She is often heard crying warnings of 'beware the garden gnomes', but then she is just as likely to turn around and conspire with them. However, she claims that she has no control over them and they simply do as they please regardless of what she tells them to do.

Angel played a role in the original Christmas Stories where she helped his friends save the holiday from the evil Krampus and, occasionally, her friends the garden gnomes. She then continued to appear in nearly every Christmas Story since, up to and including both A Crossmas Carol and Have Yourself A Dozen Little Christmases - both of which are considered canon. Despite sticking around for a long time and playing a role in many adventures with the IGNOites, Angel has now drifted away for adventures to parts unknown.

IRL, Angel was one of the founding IGNO members, having met SG2 and the others on an old and primitive text-only message board. She is responsible for the concept of the garden gnomes, having become notorious for creating threads to 'beware the garden gnomes' on said original text board - thus, the gnomes predate IGNO itself. Though the concept has been adjusted somewhat to coincide with our evolved canon, in essence the gnomes are the same as Angel originally conceived of them - evil little trouble-makers who have stolen the magical Piski Dust from the piskis and use it to wreak havoc on IGNOLand.

Angel's abilities have always been quite mysterious. She prefers to command the garden gnomes (when they feel like listening) from afar rather than fighting herself, though if necessary she can wield a magical bow made of Light which fires similarly-magical Light arrows.

Her ability to command the gnomes seems limited. Sometimes they obey, others they rebel. Perhaps they have a relationship not unlike LG does with the walls, but as a more notoriously chaotic race, they simply don't always feel like aiding her.
