The Zetabug is a relatively non-threatening villain who shows up to 'terrorize' the IGNOites from time to time. Its worst offenses include taking your mother out for a beautiful dinner, a walk on the beach, and having a wonderful time...and then never calling her again. Since most of the IGNOites he seeks to threaten with this habit do not seem to have mothers, however, its danger level is considered low.
Zetabug originated in an old cbox chat, which is archived and can be read here - under the fitting title 'Night of the Zetabug'.
Zetabug can burrow underground and pop up where it's least expected. It can grab foes with its sharp pincers and squeeze tight, then drag them back underground along with it. It can also spit acid, though it tends to only do this when especially angry or threatened.
More unusual is the Zetabug's apparent charm. Despite its hideous insect-like appearance, Zetabug is easily able to woo mothers of all kinds and engage them in a wonderful and romantic evening. However - heinous though it is - it will not call her again after the date, no matter how well it has gone. Thus the Zetabug is considered a notorious heartbreaker by moms everywhere...
