Mertopia is an undersea nation located to the southwest of Blood Country, directly beneath Reese's Roost. During the Kaiser's reign, Mertopia was considered a (reluctantly) allied nation; however, increasing hostilities between surface-dwellers and merfolk have lead to the Prince taking a stance of unsupportive non-aggression towards the major world power. As Konungur Bones does not yet have the means to launch a full-scale conquest against the submerged nation, the two nations stand at a somewhat uneasy standstill.
