A race of white-haired humans from Toastopolis. Milk and dairy products are their dietary staples, leading to their striking appearance.
They are visually distinct from other human races by their fair skin, stark-white hair, and golden eyes - a result of the large amount of milk and dairy products in their diet. It is unknown whether this diet developed as a result of the butter sea that surrounds their island, or if the sea itself turned to butter because of these local tendencies. Regardless, their bodies have developed to become dependent on milk, butter, cheese and other dairy-rich foods, which they must consume more regularly and in greater quantities than most humans. This is referred to as lactose dependency, a rare condition seen as the opposite of lactose intolerance, and found almost exclusively among this race.

The lactolusters hail from the isle of Toastopolis, a small island to the south of IGNOLand. Once an independently-governed nation, civil wars and internal rebellion lead to Toastopolis' military power weakening, leading to its eventual assimilation into Konungur Bones' Empire during his conquest of IGNOLand.
The economy of Toastopolis is largely fueled by their robust dairy industry, and many of the greatest artisans of the trade are of lactoluster ancestry.
